What “runs on your device” means for this tool
When you open this page, your browser downloads the timer itself, the same way any web page loads. From then on, all the timing happens inside your browser, on your own device, using your device's clock. Nothing you set is sent to this website's server or to anyone else.
What is saved: a running timer, stopwatch and your alarms are remembered in this browser only, so they carry on if you reload the page. Clearing your browsing data removes them.
Keep the tab open: a web page can only ring while it is open. Closing the tab or putting a phone to sleep may stop the sound.
Visit counting: this site counts visits with privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no ads, no tracking across other sites, and your IP address is not stored. It records which page you opened, your country, your device type and how long you stayed.
How to use the Countdown Timer
- Tap a preset like 5 min, or type hours, minutes and seconds.
- Press Start. The end time shows underneath.
- Choose an alarm sound, or turn on a notification.
- When it rings, press Stop.

How do I set a 10 minute timer?
Tap 10 min. It starts right away and rings in 10 minutes.
Can I add time while it runs?
Yes, press +1 min as often as you like.
Can it repeat?
Yes. Tick “Repeat when it ends” and it starts again automatically, handy for intervals.
