The tools

Our tools run in your browser. Files, photos, text and passwords you put into a tool are handled on your own device and are not uploaded to us. Each tool page explains how that tool works. Some tools remember your settings (for example invoice details) in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device until you clear it.

File Transfer sends files directly between your two devices. Our server only helps the devices find each other; when a direct link isn't possible, the encrypted data passes through a relay without being stored.

Visit statistics

We count visits with our own analytics, hosted by us. It records the page, the site you came from, your browser and device type, and your country. It does not use cookies and does not store your IP address.

Hosting and security

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and block attacks. The email sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots.

Email updates

If you sign up for email updates, we keep your email address, the topics you chose, how often you want emails and the date you joined. These are stored with Brevo, the service that sends our emails, and are used only to send you those emails. Every email has a link to change your choices or unsubscribe; unsubscribing deletes your address from the list.

If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads on some pages.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Embedded content

Stock pages show price charts from TradingView, which may set its own cookies. Links to Discord and Bluesky take you to those services, which have their own policies.

Your choices

We don't sell your personal information. You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children

Nebula is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
