Remove Location From Photos
Phone photos often store the exact spot where they were taken. Check what a photo reveals and strip the location and camera details before you post it or send it to a buyer.
What “never uploaded” means for this tool
When you open this page, your browser downloads the image tool itself, the same way any web page loads. From then on, all compressing, converting and cleaning happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your photos are never sent to this website’s server or to anyone else, so we never see them, or the location data inside them.
Want proof? Once the page has loaded, turn off Wi-Fi or mobile data and it still works. (Opening an iPhone HEIC photo loads one extra converter file the first time; after that it works offline too.)
Nothing is kept. Your photos exist only in this browser tab and are gone when you close it. Your downloads are the only copies.
What the server does see: like any website, the server that delivers this page sees basic connection details such as your IP address and which page was requested. It never receives your photos.
Visit counting: this site counts visits with privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no ads, no tracking across other sites, and your IP address is not stored. It records which page you opened, your country, your device type, how long you stayed and when you download a result, never the file or anything in it.
or click to choose. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and iPhone HEIC. Many at once is fine.

Questions
Do my photos really contain my location?
Photos taken with location services on usually include GPS coordinates accurate to a few meters. This page shows you if they do.
Does this change how the photo looks?
No. Only the hidden info is removed; every pixel of a JPG or PNG stays the same.
Do social networks remove it for me?
Some do, many do not, and email or marketplace attachments usually keep it. Removing it yourself is the safe option.
