What “runs on your device” means for this tool
When you open this page, your browser downloads the tests themselves, the same way any web page loads. From then on, everything runs inside your browser, on your own device. The keys you press and your clicks are never sent to this website's server or to anyone else, and nothing is saved.
Visit counting: this site counts visits with privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no ads, no tracking across other sites, and your IP address is not stored. It records which page you opened, your country, your device type and how long you stayed.
Press any key. Keys turn green once they've worked; the one you're holding lights up orange.

Questions
Why doesn’t the Windows or Fn key light up?
Your system handles some keys (Windows, Fn, Print Screen) before a web page can see them, so they may not show.
What is N-key rollover?
How many keys a keyboard can register at the same time. Gaming keyboards handle many; basic ones often only 2 to 6.
Is what I type recorded?
No. The test runs in your browser and nothing is saved or sent.
