KC Nebula/Random Picker

Spin the Wheel & Random Picker

Spin a wheel of names, flip a coin, roll dice, draw random numbers or split people into teams. Fair results every time, ready for classrooms, giveaways, games and tough decisions.

🔒 Picked on your device
What “picked on your device” means for this tool

When you open this page, your browser downloads the picker itself, the same way any web page loads. From then on, every spin, flip and roll happens inside your browser, on your own device. The names you type are never sent to this website's server or to anyone else.

Fair and random: results come from your browser's built-in secure random number generator (the same kind used for passwords), not a predictable pattern. Every entry has an equal chance. Nobody, including this website, can steer the result.

What is saved: your list of names is remembered in this browser only, so it's there when you come back. Clearing your browsing data removes it.

What the server does see: like any website, the server that delivers this page sees basic connection details such as your IP address and which page was requested. Never your names.

Visit counting: this site counts visits with privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no ads, no tracking across other sites, and your IP address is not stored. It records which page you opened, your country, your device type, how long you stayed and when you download a result, never the file or anything in it.

Questions

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. Every result comes from your browser's secure random number generator, and every name has exactly the same chance. Nobody can steer the result.

Can I roll D&D and tabletop RPG dice?

Yes. Tap d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100 to build a roll, or type dice notation like 1d20+5, 2d6+3, 4d6kh3 (keep highest 3), 1d20adv, 3d6! (exploding) or 4dF (Fate dice). Natural 20s and 1s are highlighted, and there is a one-tap ability score roller.

Is the coin flip 50/50?

Yes. Each flip is an independent, exactly even chance, just like a fair coin. You can also rename the sides, for example Yes and No.

Can I remove the winner after each spin?

Yes. Tick "Remove the winner after each spin", or press Remove from wheel on the result.

How many names can the wheel hold?

Up to 500. With many names the text gets small, but every name still has an equal chance.

Are my names saved?

Your list is remembered in this browser only, so it is still there next time. It is never sent anywhere.
