An analysis apparatus may include: a communication device configured to communicate with a display apparatus; a sensor configured to obtain an image displayed on the display apparatus; and a controller configured to: based on a first and second image obtained by the sensor, the first and second image respectively including a first and second plurality of gray values where the second plurality of gray values respectively correspond to, and are different values from, the first plurality of gray values, recognize a plurality of response times respectively corresponding to a time to change from the first to the second plurality of gray values, based on a difference between the response times and a reference response time, identify information corresponding to a modification to an overdrive table of the display apparatus, and control the communication device to transmit the identified information to the display apparatus such that the overdrive table is correctable.

An analysis apparatus comprising: a communication device configured to communicate with a display apparatus; a sensor configured to obtain an image of a test image displayed on the display apparatus; and a controller configured to: based on a first image of a first test image obtained by the sensor and a second image of a second test image obtained by the sensor, the first image including a first plurality of gray values displayed on the display apparatus and the second image including a second plurality of gray values displayed on the display apparatus that respectively correspond to, and are different values from, the first plurality of gray values, recognize a plurality of response times respectively corresponding to a time for the first plurality of gray values to change to the second plurality of gray values, based on a difference between the recognized plurality of response times and a reference response time, identify information corresponding to a modification to an overdrive table of the display apparatus, and control the communication device to transmit the identified information to the display apparatus such that the overdrive table of the display apparatus is correctable based on the identified information.
