Nissan recall: Equipment
What is wrong
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain spare tire accessory kits, part number T99MB7SF0A, sold for certain 2026 Sentra vehicles. The spare tire size and inflation information on the tire placard is incorrect. As such, vehicles equipped with these kits fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
What could happen
Incorrect spare tire pressure information on the placard may lead to incorrect inflation of the spare tire, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Nissan will mail corrected tire information placards, free of charge. Owners may bring the labels into a dealer for free installation. Owner notification letters were mailed November 13, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261. Nissan's number for this recall is PD208.
