What is wrong
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels sold as accessories for 2016-2021 Civic vehicles. A manufacturing error may allow the wheels to detach from the vehicle.
What could happen
Wheel detachment can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
The fix
Dealers will inspect the wheels and replace the hubs and wheels as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2025. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is MMZ.
