The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program capable of effectively evoking a sense of connection in a user. The mindfulness control section performs control in such a way as to provide a first stimulus for an experiencer in a mindfulness and relaxation mode, which is an operation mode for bringing the experiencer into a mindful state and a relaxed state. The connection evoking control section provides a second stimulus for the experiencer in a connection evoking mode, which is an operation mode for evoking a sense of connection in the experiencer, on the basis of recalled person information, which is information acquired from a recalled person, who evokes the sense of connection. The provision of the first stimulus is initiated prior to the provision of the second stimulus. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a providing device and the like.
