An electronic device may include a communication circuit, a processor, and a memory for storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor, can cause the electronic device to receive first and second ADV packets broadcast from first and second source devices, acquire first and second synchronization information related to first and second PA packets periodically broadcast from the first and second source devices, on the basis of the first and second synchronization information, identify that time intervals for the first PA packet at least partially overlap time intervals for the second PA packet, on the basis that a first time interval for the first PA packet at least partially overlaps a second time interval for the second PA packet, receive the first PA packet in the first time interval, and, on the basis that, after the first PA packet has been received, a third time interval for the first PA packet at least partially overlaps a fourth time interval for the second PA packet, receive the second PA packet in the fourth time interval.

1. An electronic device comprising: communication circuitry; at least one processor operatively coupled to the communication circuitry; and memory storing instructions, wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to: receive a first advertising packet broadcast from a first source device and a second advertising packet broadcast from a second source device; based on the first advertising packet and the second advertising packet, acquire first synchronization information related to a first periodic advertising (PA) packet periodically broadcast from the first source device, and second synchronization information related to a second PA packet periodically broadcast from the second source device; based on the first synchronization information and the second synchronization information, identify that time durations in which the first PA packet is receivable at least partially overlap with time durations in which the second PA packet is receivable; based on a first time duration in which the first PA packet is receivable, at least partially overlapping with a second time duration in which the second PA packet is receivable, refrain from receiving the second PA packet during the second time duration and receive the first PA packet during the first time duration; and after receiving the first PA packet, based on a third time duration in which the first PA packet is receivable, at least partially overlapping with a fourth time duration in which the second PA packet is receivable, refrain from receiving the first PA packet during the third time duration and receive the second PA packet during the fourth time duration.
