Apple patents check-in feature for user-to-user communication

1. A method comprising: at a first electronic device in communication with a display generation component and one or more input devices, wherein the first electronic device is associated with a first user account: receiving, via the one or more input devices, a first indication of initiation of a check in interaction between the first user account and a second user account, different from the first user account, wherein the check in interaction is associated with a first termination condition that defines one or more criteria that, when satisfied, cause a second indication of termination of the check in interaction to be transmitted to the first user account; in response to receiving the first indication of the initiation of the check in interaction and before the one or more criteria are satisfied, displaying, via the display generation component, a first visual indication of the initiation of the check in interaction after receiving the first indication of the initiation of the check in interaction, receiving, via the one or more input devices, the second indication of termination of the check in interaction; and in response to receiving the second indication of termination of the check in interaction, displaying, via the display generation component, a second visual indication of the termination of the check in interaction.
