A method of providing a personalized content summarization based on a content consumption status and a user status, the method comprising: during consumption of content by a user, identifying, for an aggregate portion of the content consumed by the user, user content consumption attributes including stage changes in consumption of the aggregated portion of the content consumed by the user, suitability of device status for a form of the personalized content summarization, content key points relating to characters, plot, and genre for the aggregate portion of the content consumed by the user, user interactions with the content during consumption, user preferences for the form of the personalized content summarization, and user content consumption behavior during the consumption of the aggregate portion of the content consumed by the user; when the user pauses the consumption of the content for a time period exceeding a threshold: applying prioritization to the user content consumption attributes according to priority levels for timing categories of the user content consumption attributes, wherein timing category priority levels for the content key points and the user interactions are each higher than a timing category priority level for the device status; applying prioritization to the user content consumption attributes according to priority levels for type categories of the user content consumption attributes, wherein type category priority levels for the content key points and the user interactions are each higher than a type category priority level for the device status; and based on the prioritization applied to the user content consumption attributes according to the priority levels for the timing categories and the prioritization applied to the user content consumption attributes according to the priority levels for the type categories, determining at least one generative artificial intelligence prompt for prediction, by a generative artificial intelligence model, of the personalized content summarization of the aggregate portion of the content consumed by the user; and upon user return to the consumption of the content, determining whether to present the personalized content summarization to the user.
