Apple patents device that scans your face after you take it off your wrist
This patent describes a wearable computer that prompts you to take it off your body before it uses its sensors to scan your appearance. The device then uses this captured data to automatically create a digital representation of you based on your physical features.
In the filing’s own words
In some examples, a computer system displays a prompt to remove the computer system from a body of a user while the computer system is placed on the body of the user so that the computer system can capture information about the user for generating a representation of the user.
