Samsung patents server method to manage user consent for edge apps
Samsung has been granted a patent for a server-based method that manages user permissions for applications running on the network's edge. The system checks if a user has already approved a service, and if not, it retrieves the consent from a client device before allowing the app to access the service. It also includes a security step using one-time passwords to update these permissions.
