Sony patents demo models that show QR codes to recommend products
Sony describes a system where electronic display models in stores show machine-readable codes, such as QR codes, on their screens. When a customer scans this code with their phone, a server verifies the device's identity and generates a webpage with a chatbot. The chatbot asks questions about the user's needs to recommend specific products.
