Text Compare
Paste the old and new versions of anything: a contract, an essay, code, a list. See exactly what was added, removed or changed.
What “compared on your device” means for this tool
When you open this page, your browser downloads the compare tool itself, the same way any web page loads. From then on, the comparing happens inside your browser, on your own device. The text you paste or open is never sent to this website’s server or to anyone else, so it's safe for private documents.
Nothing is kept. Close the tab and the text is gone. Want proof? Turn off Wi-Fi after the page loads; it keeps working.
What the server does see: like any website, the server that delivers this page sees basic connection details such as your IP address and which page was requested. Never your text.
Visit counting: this site counts visits with privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no ads, no tracking across other sites, and your IP address is not stored. It records which page you opened, your country, your device type, how long you stayed and when you download a result, never the file or anything in it.
